Conviento De Lobos is the accommodation that is closest to Punta De Lobos surf break. As far as location is concerned, you cannot beat the proximity to Los Morros. Conviento De Lobos provided a very relaxing atmosphere in which an incredible and authentic Chilean breakfast was served in the room. There was no internet in the room, so it was a nice way to disconnect from the world for a few days yet you could head to the common area if you did need to check in online. There was a yoga studio and daily yoga sessions, there was a horse stable and horses that walked across the property every morning.
The room had ocean views from every window and as mentioned, was only a few minute walk from arguably the best wave on the continent. There was an outside shower which was very nice as Punta De Lobos is dusty and dirty. We were able to keep our wetsuits and feet clean. They offered laundry services, which was very nice, as we were on a 6 week trip throughout South America. There were a few food trucks outside in the parking lot and a restaurant/hang out area that had wifi if we wanted to connect to the world. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely incredible. We had a kitchenette as well, so we could prepare lunch and dinner on our own and upon request, they provided a crib for our baby.
Conviento De Lobos had almost a retreat type feel to it. Not like a hotel or hostel or like an airbnb, but more of a bed and breakfast feel. It was clean, quiet, cozy and quaint and it had a Chilean charm to it. Punta De Lobos has a certain vibe to it, a very rustic and mellow vibe that is difficult to convey to others that have not visited. Conviento fits in perfectly with this vibe and also with the healthy lifestyle vibe that radiates in Punta De Lobos.
