The Retreat Beach Houses– The Beach Houses in Perregian Beach are fully self contained beach houses. With multiple bedrooms, a huge kitchen and living room area, washer/dryer (SOOO helpful with kids), pool, tennis courts and free access to pool/beach gear, it is perfect for families or groups. The large ocean view decks make for the perfect place to have a sunset dinner with the family. Perregian Beach was almost empty so we loved having the beach to ourselves, but also just a quick drive to the legendary Noosa Heads surf breaks and hiking trails. Find out more information here.
Brazil
Pousada Vila Tamarindo – An eco-resort, with large apartments that are a short walk away from Praia Campeche. An amazing daily breakfast and yoga classes are included with your stay. A gorgeous tropical resort with a pool and hammocks spread throughout the property. Read more here.
Pousada Kalua Praia – A family run Pousada with the kindest staff we’ve ever encountered! The daily breakfast is outstanding and included and the rooms are big enough for large families. Chile
Conviento de Lobos – Conviento De Lobos is the accommodation that is closest to Punta De Lobos surf break. As far as location is concerned, you cannot beat the proximity to Los Morros. Conviento De Lobos provided a very relaxing atmosphere in which an incredible and authentic Chilean breakfast was served in the room. Babysitting and laundry service available! Costa Rica
Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas – Large rooms with kitchen in a great location for the main surf breaks in Tamarindo and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Highlight was waking up to an ocean view and monkeys playing in the trees! Breakfast is included and has a great pool area. Learn more about BW Tamarindo here.
Nicaragua
Malibu Popoyo – An all-inclusive, boutique surf resort that will make a carefully curated surf trip just for you! Included is surf guiding or lessons, yoga and 3 healthy meals per day. Dominican Republic
El Encuentro Surf Lodge – The closest accommodation to the most consistent surf break in Dominican Republic. The room we stayed in was spacious. It was the size of an apartment and the staff gave us a crib for our 2 month old. There was a simple kitchen, which enabled us to make our own meals. There is a pool, a delicious breakfast is included, and nice and private front porch is a great place to relax as well. There is an outdoor yoga studio. Read our full review here.
Senator Puerto Plata – This new resort in the Puerto Plata area is great for anyone looking for a relaxing beach atmosphere in a convenient location to some of the Dominican Republic’s top tourist attractions. It is an all-inclusive resort that has something for everyone to enjoy! Read more about this resort here.
Jamaica
Franklyn D. Resort and Spa – Gorgeous small hotel located in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. Included in your room rate are all meals and a vacation nanny. The food offerings are American food and Jamaican food. THEy also have unique Jamaican ice cream flavors! This place is AMAZING for families with young children. We have stayed here twice and have had the time of our lives both time! See our full review here.
Uruguay
Hotel La Bluette – The Hotel La Bluette is an impressive accommodation to say the least. It boasts its own pizzeria (Filipo’s), a private swimming pool, a personal patio outside the room, an incredible breakfast and last but not least, a very attentive staff that is very helpful with everything; from maps, directions, suggestions, history lessons…etc. Read more about this gorgeous property here.
Anaconda Apart Hotel – Hotel and bungalows that are a great size for families. The kids had their own loft upstairs with three beds and they provided a crib for Sunny. We had our own bedroom downstairs and a kitchen, which was really important for Uruguay, because the food is really expensive there. There is a playground and a heated pool, so the kids were always entertained. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the staff was incredibly nice. more about La Paloma and this hotel here.
Sri Lanka
Ebb & Flow Jungalows – The perfect space for families or groups in Sri Lanka. It has a great location across from Rams surf break, incredible ocean views, luxurious accommodations, privacy and your own personal chef!!!! The bungalow is clean, offers spacious and hot showers, and air conditioning, which is a must in Sri Lanka! Coral would love to take you on a tour of the luxury bungalow in the video link below!
